About SDSI

San Diego Seal Inc. was founded in 1978 by Fred Salman to provide a local presence in the sealing device industry. Mr. Salman's focus was to establish local distribution of sealing products in an area that was dependent on service from the Los Angeles area.

As the company grew into a corporation in 1981, Mr. Salman created very successful relationships with manufacturers who serve the military, marine and power generating industries. With these relationships came success and initiated a growth cycle which included bringing aboard Eric Salman as Sales Manager.

Eric Salman has led an effort to expand the client base using his experience in field sales and his product expertise. Eric has been in Industrial Sales since 1991 and has had certified training through John Crane and A.W. Chesterton. Eric has also had great success building on the Navy and Navy Shipyard relationships established by Fred. Eric keeps up on product and industry matters and is always available for onsite technical assistance.

Ron Perez handles inside sales and provides product support to our biggest client to date. Ron has been with SDSI since 1988 and can be counted on to help assist with analyzing requirements for products and materials needed for all types of situations.

Zora Ficzko was hired in 2004 and Eric Stephens in 2005 to further the marketing and business management efforts.

San Diego Seal Inc. continues to position itself to better serve our existing client base while looking for new opportunities to expand the existing product line and customer base.
